Hastings' Dictionary of the Bible
ATTENDANCE . In 1Ma 15:32 ‘attendance’ is used for a king’s retinue; while in 1 Timothy 4:13 it is used in the obsolete sense of attention : ‘Till I come give attendance (RV [Note: Revised Version.] ‘heed’) to reading.’
