AWAY WITH . This phrase is used idiomatically with the force of a verb in Isaiah 1:13 ‘the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with,’ i.e. tolerate. This verb is omitted (= ‘get away with,’ i.e. in mod. English ‘get on with’).
