EXPECT . ‘From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool’ ( Hebrews 10:13 ), that is, waiting. In the Donai Bible the comment on Sir 11:8 is: ‘Expect the end of another man’s speech before you begin to answer. Expect also if anie that is elder, or better able, will answer first.’
