LAISH . 1 . The original name of the town of Dan ( Judges 18:7; Judges 18:14; Judges 18:27; Judges 18:29 ). The variation Leshem occurs in Joshua 19:47 bis 2 . The father of Palti or Paltiel, to whom Michael, David’s wife, was given by Saul ( 1 Samuel 25:44 , 2 Samuel 3:15 ).
