NEKODA. 1 . Eponym of a family of Nethinim ( Ezra 2:48 = Nehemiah 7:60 ); called in 1Es 5:31 Noeba. 2. Name of a family which returned from the Exile, but were unable to prove their Israelitish descent ( Ezra 2:60 = Nehemiah 7:62 ); called in 1Es 5:37 Nekodan.
