ENFEE'BLE, from feeble. To deprive of strength to reduce the strength or force of to weaken to debilitate to enervate. Intemperance enfeebles the body, and induces premature infirmity. Excessive grief and melancholy enfeeble the mind. Long wars enfeeble a state.
