Morrish Bible Dictionary
The Hebrew word is commonly translated 'lies.' Psalm 4:2; Psalm 5:6 . The word 'leasing' is from the Anglo-Saxon leas , 'false.' Wiclif, in John 8:44 , translated "Whanne he spekith lesynge."
