  1. Péthén (Deuteronomy 32), the cobra;
  2. Akhshubh, (Psalms 13; Romans 3), a highly poisonous viper, also mentioned once in the Hebrew Bible;
  3. Shahal, (Psalms 90), a snake;
  4. cphoni (Isaiah 59), called "the hisser."
