Benedict Vi, Pope
1910 New Catholic Dictionary
Reigned 972 to 974. Born in Rome, Italy; died there. Shortly after he was elected pope he was imprisoned and later strangled by a faction of the Italian nobility under the antipope, Boniface Franco.
