Canons of Councils
1910 New Catholic Dictionary
The decrees of general councils which contain the condemnations of heretical doctrines. The contradictory of the truth is put down, and the condemnation of anathema is attached to anyone who would hold this negative proposition. The canons of councils are of defined faith.
