Chapel, Apse
1910 New Catholic Dictionary
A chapel radiating from one of the bays of the apse and reached by an ambulatory (passageway). Saint Martin's, Tours, France, is the Common example of the ambulatory and radiating chapels. It is a continental form rare in England.
