Confiteor
1910 New Catholic Dictionary
(Latin: I confess)
A general confession of sins in the form of prayer. It is part of the introductory prayers of Mass, is said at Prime and Complin, before Holy Communion and Extreme Unction, before the Apostolic blessing given to a dying person, before confession, at the ceremony for publication of indulgences, and also in private devotions.
