1910 New Catholic Dictionary
Confessor, Capuchin missionary, born Cadiz, 1743; died 1801. He was received into the Capuchin Order in Seville, 1759, and labored as a missionary throughout Spain, but chiefly in Andalusia. Known as "the Apostle of the Blessed Trinity and of Our Lady, the Mother of the Good Shepherd," he spent most of his time in the confessional. Beatified, 1894. Feast, March 24,.
