(Arabic: Aslama, to surrender)
The religion of Mohammed and of the Koran; ethically, the surrender of the will to God. Its professors are called Muslimun (Muslim, one who has surrendered), believers. Sometimes divided into Iman or Faith, and Din or Practical Religion. See also: Koran, Mohammedism.
