1910 New Catholic Dictionary
Established as the Vicariate Apostolic of Zanguebar Centrale on May 11, 1906. Name changed to the Vicariate Apostolic of Bagamoyo, and entrusted to the Fathers of the Holy Ghost on December 21, 1906. Elevated to the Diocese of Morogoro, Tanzania on March 25, 1953. See also:
