Reliquary
1910 New Catholic Dictionary
A vessel intended to contain and expose a sacred relic. It often resembles a small ostensorium. In some European churches reliquaries are very large and sometimes immovable, containing many relics. There is a special blessing in the Ritual for reliquaries.
