Ruthenian Rite
1910 New Catholic Dictionary
The liturgy used by the Ruthenian Uniats in Poland, Hungary, and the United States. It is practically the same as the Byzantine Rite of the Orthodox Church. It is said in the old Slavonic language, the ancient tongue of the Ruthenians.
