People's Dictionary of the Bible

Adonibezek (a-dô'nî-bç'zek or a-dŏn'i-bç'-zek), lord of Bezek. The king of Bezek, conquered by the tribe of Judah. He had his thumbs and great toes cut off, having himself inflicted the same punishment on 70 chiefs. Judges 1:4-7.
