"remembrance, mention" (akin to mimnesko, "to remind, remember"), is always used in connection with prayer, and translated "mention" in Romans 1:9; Ephesians 1:16; 1 Thessalonians 1:2; Philemon 1:4 , in each of which it is preceded by the verb to make; "rememberance" in Philippians 1:3; 1 Thessalonians 3:6; 2 Timothy 1:3 .
