Vine's Expository Dictionary of NT Words

1: στρατιά

(Strong's #4756 — Noun Feminine — strateia[-tia] — strat-ee'-ah )

primarily "a host or army," came to denote "a warfare," and is used of spritual "conflict" in 2 Corinthians 10:4; 1 Timothy 1:18 .
