Powder

Wilson's Dictionary of Bible Types

Matthew 21:44 (b) Indicates the utter destruction (not annihilation or obliteration) of the one who presumes to stand up in defiance against GOD.

Luke 20:18 (a) By this figure the Lord is explaining to us the tragedy of being an enemy of JESUS CHRIST. CHRIST as the Lord of lords will crush every enemy and render him helpless and hopeless. He will not permit any of His enemies to escape the terrible punishment which He shall bring upon them when He rules over men with a rod of iron.
