Webster's Dictionary

(v. i.) Feebleness or imbecility of understanding or mind, particularly in old age; the childishness of old age; senility; as, a venerable man, now in his dotage.

(v. i.) Foolish utterance; drivel.

(v. i.) Excessive fondness; weak and foolish affection.
