Hocus
Webster's Dictionary
 (1):
  (n.) Drugged liquor.
 (2):
  (v. t.) To deceive or cheat.
 (3):
  (v. t.) To adulterate; to drug; as, liquor is said to be hocused for the purpose of stupefying the drinker.
 (4):
  (v. t.) To stupefy with drugged liquor.
 (5):
  (n.) One who cheats or deceives.
