Zalmon, Mount

Fausset's Bible Dictionary

("shady".) "Black forest," a wooded hill near Shechem, from which Abimelech brought boughs to burn the tower of the city (Judges 9:48). (See SALMON). Dalmanutha is thought a corruption of Zalmon.
