Achshaph
Holman Bible Dictionary
(ahch' sshaf) or ACSHAPH (NIV) Place name meaning, “place of sorcery.” City state which joined Jabin, King of Hazor, in opposing Joshua as he invaded northern Israel (Joshua 11:1 ). Achshaph was a border city for Asher (Joshua 19:25 ). It was probably located near Acco, but its precise location is not known.
