Adoni-Bezek
Holman Bible Dictionary
(ad' oh ni beh' zek) Personal name meaning, “lord of Bezek,” Bezek being a place name meaning, “lightning” or “fragments.” Canaanite king of Bezek. Tribe of Judah defeated him and cut off his thumbs and big toes, a sign of humiliation, before taking him to Jerusalem. There he died (Judges 1:5-7 ). See Bezek .
