Holman Bible Dictionary
(ay' rahd) or ARODI Personal name meaning, “humpbacked.” Arodi (Genesis 46:16 ) or Arod (Numbers 26:17 ) was son of Gad and grandson of Jacob. He was the original ancestor of the Arodite clan.
