Holman Bible Dictionary
(dyoo' ruh) Accadian place name meaning, “circuit wall.” Plain in Babylonia where King Nebuchadnezzar set up a mammoth golden image of a god or of himself (Daniel 3:1 ). The common place name does not lend itself to an exact location.
