Elim
Holman Bible Dictionary
(ee' lihm) Place name meaning, “trees.” One of the encampments of the Israelites after the Exodus from Egypt (Exodus 15:27 ). It was the first place where they found water. It had twelve wells of water and seventy palm trees (Numbers 33:9 ). Its exact location is unknown.
