En-Rimmon
Holman Bible Dictionary
(ehn-rihm' mohn) Place name meaning, “spring of the pomegranate.” A town in Judah (Nehemiah 11:29 ) where people lived in Nehemiah's day (about 445 B.C.). Ain and Rimmon or Remmon appear as separate cities in the tribal territory of Judah (Joshua 15:32 ), settled by the tribe of Simeon (Joshua 19:7 ). These two are often read as one city (Joshua 19:7 , RSV but not NRSV), but this makes the numbers of the cities in the lists inaccurate. It is located at khirbet er-Ramamin, about two miles south of Lahav.
