Ephai
Holman Bible Dictionary
(ee' fi) Personal name meaning, “bird.” Father of men who joined Ishmael in revolt against and murder of Gedaliah, the governor of Judah after Babylon captured and destroyed Jerusalem in 586 B.C. (Jeremiah 40:8 ). Ephai was from Netophah near Bethlehem.
