Giah
Holman Bible Dictionary
(gi' uh) Place name meaning, “bubbling.” Place where David's general Joab confronted Abner, Saul's general, after Abner killed Joab's brother Asahel (2 Samuel 2:24 ). The earliest translations saw Giah as a common noun meaning, “valley.” Its location near Gibeon is not known.
