Griddle
Holman Bible Dictionary
A flat surface on which food is cooked by dry heat (Leviticus 2:5; Leviticus 6:21; Leviticus 7:9 modern translations; KJV, pan). In earlier days this would have been of stone. Later griddles were made of iron ( Ezekiel 4:3 where the same Hebrew word is often rendered plate).
