KJV translation of two Hebrew terms. That in Genesis 30:38 ,Genesis 30:38,30:41 is rendered (drinking) troughs (NIV, REB, NRSV TEV) or runnels, a small stream (RSV). The term used at 2 Samuel 5:8 is rendered water shaft (NIV, NRSV) or water tunnel (NAS, TEV).
