(jih di' ay ehl) Personal name meaning, “the one whom God knows.” 1. Member of tribe of Benjamin (1Chronicles 7:6,1 Chronicles 7:10-11 ). 2 . Military leader under David (1 Chronicles 11:45 ). The same or a different warrior from the tribe of Manasseh joined David when he moved to Ziklag (1 Chronicles 12:20 ). 3 . A Levite and gatekeeper (1 Chronicles 26:2 ).
