(jehh dee' yah) Personal name meaning, “Yahweh rejoices.” 1. A Levite listed outside the twenty-four courses of Levites (1 Chronicles 24:20 ). 2 . Keeper of the royal donkeys under David (1 Chronicles 27:30 ). His home was Meronoth.
