Knob
Holman Bible Dictionary
An ornamental detail on the seven-branched lampstand in the tabernacle (Exodus 25:31-36 , KJV's knop; RSV's capital; NRSV's calyx; NIV's buds). Some suggest that the knob was an imitation of the almond. The word may also refer to the capital of a column (Zephaniah 2:14 ).
