Litter
Holman Bible Dictionary
A covered and curtained couch with shafts so that it can be carried by porters (Song of Song of Solomon 3:7 NRSV, REB; Isaiah 66:20 , KJV, NAS, NRSV). The term used at Isaiah 60:20 perhaps refers to covered wagons (NIV, REB). The NIV takes the term at Song of Song of Solomon 3:7 in this sense as well (carriage).
