Lute
Holman Bible Dictionary
A stringed instrument with a large, pear-shaped body and a neck. NRSV used lute to translate two Hebrew terms (Psalm 92:3; Psalm 150:3 ). NAS and NIV translated the first term as “10-stringed lute” and the second as harp. The KJV translated both terms as psaltery. See Music, Instruments, Dancing .
