Maw
Holman Bible Dictionary
KJV term for the fourth stomach of a cud-chewing animal. The maw was among the choice cuts of meat reserved for the priests' portion (Deuteronomy 18:3 ). Modern translations use stomach (NAS, REB, NRSV) or innerparts (NIV).
