Ninevites
Holman Bible Dictionary
(nihn' uh vitess) Residents of the Assyrian capital Nineveh (Luke 11:30 ,Luke 11:30,11:32 ). The Ninevites served as an example of Gentiles who repented and were accepted by God (compare Jonah 3; Luke 4:26-27; Luke 7:9; Luke 11:31; Luke 17:15-18 ). See Assyria.
