Sarsechim
Holman Bible Dictionary
(ssahr' ssih chihm) Babylonian personal name or title possibly meaning, “overseer of black slaves” or “overseer of the mercenary troops.” Often seen as copyist's change from Nebushasban (Jeremiah 39:13 ). A Babylonian leader during capture of Jerusalem in 587 B.C. (Jeremiah 39:3 ). Compare translations. See Rab-saris.
