Sebam
Holman Bible Dictionary
(ssee' bam) Place name probably meaning, “high” or “cold.” Town east of the Jordan the tribes of Reuben and Gad wanted to settle after God conquered it for them (Numbers 32:3 ). Early versions agree with Numbers 32:38 in reading, “Sibmah,” which the tribes rebuilt. Its location is not certain.
