Sheshai
Holman Bible Dictionary
(sshee' sshi) Probably a Hurrian name of uncertain meaning. A man or clan living near Hebron descended from the Anakim (Numbers 13:22 ) and driven out by Caleb (Joshua 15:14 ) and the tribe of Judah (Judges 1:10 ). See Anak, Anakim . They may have entered Palestine with the Sea Peoples to whom the Philistines are related.
