Sosipater
Holman Bible Dictionary
(ssoh ssihp' uh tuhr) Personal name meaning, “to save one's father.” He is said to be a kinsman (a Jew) of Paul who sent greetings to Rome (Romans 16:21 ). “Sopater of Berea” (Acts 20:4 ) may be the same.
