Stature
Holman Bible Dictionary
Usually refers to the height of a person, sometimes used figuratively (Ezekiel 17:6; Ezekiel 19:11 ). Jesus “increased in wisdom and stature” (Luke 2:52 ). It was used to show the weakness of humanity and the need to rely on God (Matthew 6:27; Luke 12:25 ). It was also used as a measure of the maturity of the Christian (Ephesians 4:13 ).
