Tel-Melah
Holman Bible Dictionary
(tehl-mee' luh) Place name meaning, “mound of salt.” Babylonian home of a group of Jews unable to demonstrate their lineage (Ezra 2:59; Nehemiah 7:61 ). Tel-Melah is perhaps Thelma of Ptolemy in the low salt tracts near the Persian Gulf.
