Hastings' Dictionary of the Bible
CATHUA ( 1Es 5:30 ). One of the heads of families of Temple servants who returned with Zerubbabel from captivity. It appears to correspond to Giddel in Ezra 2:47; cf. Nehemiah 7:49 .
