Hastings' Dictionary of the Bible
MIBHAR. In 1 Chronicles 11:38 one of David’s heroes appears as ‘Mibhar the son of Hagri.’ The parallel passage 2 Samuel 23:36 reads, ‘of Zobah, Bani the Gadite,’ which is probably the correct text.
