Hastings' Dictionary of the Bible

SLEIGHT . The word tr. [Note: translate or translation.] ‘sleight’ in Ephesians 4:14 , ‘by the sleight of men,’ means literally dice-playing . Tindale uses ‘wylynes,’ which is more intelligible now than ‘sleight.’
